A Double Shoot! {South Jersey Children's Photographer}

Mom and I had a great time at this session!! Mr. A had a fun time ‘playing’ with his brand new baby sister… I love to watch older little ones with brand new little ones.  I especially enjoy the confusion on their faces when the baby moves around and makes noise. The way in which they want to touch odd places, like eye balls, noses, etc. just cracks me up.  It’s neat to watch them explore. 

I usually have a hard time getting decent kiss pictures with young kiddos, but it worked out adorably with these two!  I was really excited.  Doing shots on a bed really makes it easier when there is a newborn.  The newborn can lay and everyone can pose around the baby.  Often, when trying to get a group shot, holding the baby can be cumbersome – at least when you are trying to hold the baby in a good position for the camera to get the baby’s face properly.  I always suggest a bedroom – sometimes people are totally down with that, and other times I get the oddest looks and responses such as, “Um, I hate my bedroom, lets do the couch”… and I’ve even gotten a “well, the baby peed on the bedspread this morning, so it’s in the wash”.  Life with a newborn is never dull and I totally understand that it’s definitely not always possible to use a bed!
