Morning coffee is my reflection. Three PM is my frustration. One AM is my action.
In 2007, before I had my daughter, I snatched up a fancy shmancy new camera, it’s the trendy thing to do, right? In reality, I wanted to be able to get the camera to click faster than a point and shoot and to get a ‘fuzzy background’ when taking pictures of my brand new baby. I had NO CLUE how to use this camera, other than using the automatic settings, when it arrived- or how to fill out the warranty forms. I was genuinely afraid to change the lens because I thought that any speck of dust would render my camera useless. Through trial and error I learned one step at a time, how to use the camera, how to create a picture, how to ‘see’ creatively. This was the beginning of this journey I’m on… I’m still learning everyday – but I am happy to say I am changing my lens(es) daily
In my past life, I was an elementary school teacher in an inner city school. When I’m not behind a camera I am with my two babies, searching for organizing tips and recipes on Pinterest, and watching trashy, albeit hilarious, television before bed with my hubby <3. Oh, and I love the <3 symbol and make it entirely way too much <3 <3 <3.
